At Ibanez, we sought to push the limits of the iconic Tube Screamer by reinventing our flagship hand-wired model. We evaluated every component, while ensuring we preserved the transparency and rich mid-range that characterize the pedal. After numerous prototypes, we concluded that the JRC NJM4558 operational amplifier was essential for achieving the legendary Tube Screamer sound. At the same time, this new design offers a broader sonic palette thanks to the integration of premium components, such as MOGAMI OFC cables, which optimize the advantages of manual wiring. Additionally, a boost has been added to the final stage of the circuit, increasing the maximum output level by +6 dB. Its aesthetic has also been redesigned, giving it a premium look while retaining its traditional shape.
