Recallable D-PRE microphone preamplifiers

The TF Series consoles feature new recallable versions of Yamahas D-PRE microphone preamplifier. Preamplifiers, or the head amplifiers of any console, play an important role in defining the sound of the final mix. Yamaha engineers have therefore spared no effort in developing and refining the D-PRE design to ensure that every nuance and subtlety of the original signal is well captured. The circuit is based on a discrete inverted Darlington pair configuration that achieves clean, precise amplification with consistently low noise and distortion at all signal levels. While some microphone preamplifiers are specifically designed to give unique character, the D-PRE preamplifier has been carefully designed with a flat, wide frequency response that retains the tone and nuance of the original sound so that the essence of the art of the interpreters is captured intact.

Intuitive user interface optimized for touchscreen use

Allowing most operations to be performed via the touchscreen, the TF Series' innovative interface will quickly become second nature to a wide range of users. In addition to the fast and precise gain adjustment function "GainFinder", shortcuts to "QuickPro Presets" and so on, the TF series will allow you to quickly and effortlessly achieve the desired results thanks to a smooth workflow and effective.

8 powerful processing and effects units and more.

With the same type of SPX processors that have become standards in recording and live sound applications, the TF-Rack offers 19 programs ranging from reverb and delay, to modulation effects such as flanger and chorus, multiband compression.

With two global effect units, the panel's EDIT button opens the effect parameter display where detailed parameters can be adjusted instantly. The other six FX Ins are available in AUX 9/10~19/20 master channels for additional signal control, i.e. level management for in-ear monitoring, or delay control of output to remotely located speakers using a delay. If more than two Global FX units are required, these Ins can be used as additional SEND/RETURN effects by assigning them to the main stereo bus.

AUX buses 1~8 and main output channels include the same 4-band parametric EQ provided on the input channels, plus a 31-band Flex12 GEQ. Both types of EQ are invaluable for optimizing speaker response and eliminating feedback. These GEQs can also be assigned to physical faders for more detailed adjustment.

TF StageMix for wireless mixing

TF StageMix is an iPad app that allows wireless control of TF Series consoles, allowing remote mixing from audience seats, in front of floor monitors, or any other listening position. It can also be used on console as an extension of the console specific interface. The TF StageMix interface is designed for similar operation and throughput to the console screen, making it easier than ever to fine-tune the mix from any location.

MORE FEATURES:

- Scene memory which stores mix settings for instant recall - Banks A and B can each hold up to 100 scenes which can be set up and recalled instantly if required, with a few pre-programmed scenes to give users a length of advance.

- 1-knob COMP & 1-knob EQ add new speed and efficiency to TF consoles. Both the 1-knob COMP and 1-knob EQ provide quick access to the full compressor and EQ display, allowing you to fine-tune settings as needed.

- QuickPro presets provide instant access to Pro Sound settings. Optimized microphone, music and output presets that include popular model choices from Audio-Technica, Sennheiser, Shure and Ultimate Ears.

- Expand the console with three dedicated apps - TF Editor, TF StageMix and MonitorMix - with user interfaces that extend the console seamlessly on any device.

- TF Editor makes offline editing and Showtime Control easy

- Personal monitoring with MonitorMix allows individual wireless AUX mixing from up to 10 iPhone, iPad or iPod touch devices simultaneously. Each performer can have convenient control over their assigned AUX buses, without having to deal with complex adjustments or parameters.

- Touch & Turn knob provides additional precision control for fine-tuning EQ or other settings, plus four user-defined knobs under the panel that can be assigned to control compressor threshold, gain EQ or other settings you need to access quickly and directly when mixing. The buttons always affect the currently selected channel.

- Expandable up to two stage boxes, as needed - TF-RACK can easily add up to three Tio1608-D I/O racks with NY64-D card using the console's QUICK CONFIG mode .
