Los Angeles - Very well balanced stick. Heavier towards the tip for quick attack and response on the drums.
Hitmaker - 5A sized in the grip with a soft taper and acorn style acorn bead that highlights the tone of the drums. A very well balanced stick, responsive and solid to the touch.
DSK – A long, but comfortable stick that features a very fast taper for extra weight at the top. This provides a powerful throw and solid impact that is perfect for an aggressive drumming style.
Traditional - Nicknamed traditional because the Vaters 7A is longer and has a different tip shape than the industry standard 7A. This classic 7A style makes great sense for lighter play. The small acorn tip delivers full cymbal and drum sounds without being overbearing.
Swing - Designed in collaboration with renowned educator Steve Fidyk, the Swing model has a double taper, meaning it is slightly thicker towards the middle of the stick than in the grip and then ends with a very fast, tapering taper. END. Has great sensitivity and exceptionally fast rebound.
Jazz - Named after the legendary Manhattan street and modeled after one of Jacks Drum Shop's first hand-crafted models, this design is straight out of the heyday of jazz and the Big Band. The long, flat oval tip produces warm, wide cymbal sounds with full-bodied drum sounds. The fast taper gives it great feel and responsiveness.
Pro Rock - Slightly below a 5A in the grip with an oval tip.
Junior - Perfect for little hands. A great way to introduce your little one to the joys of drumming. wooden tip, only.
Hammer - Size 5A handle with duplicate tip. Ideal for loud and aggressive musical situations.
Power 5b - Handle similar to 5B but with 1/2" extra length. The "big brother" of Power 5A.
Matrix - Originally a Vater Player's Design Model, the Matrix remains exactly the same in all dimensions as the previous artist's model, just with a new name. The Matrix measures at 5A in the grip with a gradual taper to a small barrel tip for extreme cymbal clarity. A very fast stick that is a great stick for jazz, funk and R&B drumming.
