Although the Hidersine HEV2 boasts a modern look, it is manufactured to the same high standards as an acoustic instrument of the same level. The body is made of birch, which contributes to a beautiful resonance once amplified. This body is covered with a flamed maple veneer on the top and back, recalling the look of the hollow maple bodies of acoustic violins.
The pegs, fingerboard, and chinrest are made of genuine ebony. The use of ebony has long been a mark of quality for a violin, as it is an excellent hardwood capable of withstanding the tension of the strings over time. Thus, the accessories not only offer an authentically traditional look and feel, but they will last you a lifetime, unlike instruments made with inferior woods painted black to imitate ebony.

Thanks to a piezo pickup located under the maple bridge, the Hidersine electric violin faithfully captures every nuance of your playing, whether through an amplifier or discreetly via headphones. On one side of the instrument are the outputs: a 6.35mm jack output compatible with most instrument amplifiers, and a 3.5mm mini-jack output for headphones.
On the other side is a preamp, where volume is adjusted and bass and treble equalization is performed. The preamp battery compartment is located on the back of the instrument; it requires a 9V square battery (PP3 type) to operate.
