ARE (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement)
ARE (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) is an original wood reforming technology developed by Yamaha. Through precise control of temperature, humidity and atmospheric pressure, the molecular properties of wood can be manipulated under more sonically ideal conditions, similar to the molecular characteristics of instrument woods that have been used for years.
New designed bracing model
A modified undercut bracing design retains the L Series' signature bright tone while enhancing low-frequency tonality.
Very comfortable traditional neck profile
A re-evaluation of string spacing, string height, fingerboard binding and neck sharpening has led to a new neck shape that is better suited to today's traditional players. The new design offers a stable grip and playing flexibility along the entire length of the neck.
5-ply handle
The new 5-ply necks are constructed from rosewood and mahogany. The design integrates the neck, headstock and body into a single unit to create a powerful, rich sound. This approach also creates a strong, stable handle that resists twisting and warping.
LL Corps
This traditional Yamaha body style is known for its rich volume, wide dynamic range and excellent tonal balance. A beautiful transparent tone is the result of a design that has been refined by artists around the world.
