Featuring a single channel, master volume, Bright switch, three-position voice selector, and onboard reverb, it is an ideal companion.
We have taken all the features of the original Deputy and reimagined them in our Victory Lunchbox format. Hand-built in our UK factory with exceptional craftsmanship and premium components, the Deputy Lunchbox retains all the functionality of the Deputy Compact Head while offering a refined, contemporary design.
Housed in our iconic robust steel chassis, this single-channel amplifier is remarkably versatile. Its front panel includes a Bright switch, a three-position voice selector, full EQ controls, gain adjustment, master volume, and an effects loop, allowing for precise tone shaping. The integrated reverb enhances every atmosphere, from subtle to immersive.
Powered by two EL86 valves, the Deputy Lunchbox delivers 25 watts of rich, dynamic Victory valve tone. Compact and powerful, it is designed for the modern guitarist.
Single-channel design
The Deputy’s single channel allows you to move effortlessly from a '60s British clean sound to a '70s classic rock tone using a single gain control. This amp is easy to use and ideal for smoothly modulating your guitar's volume, from clean to crunch, and then to saturation. With 25 watts of power, you will enjoy plenty of headroom.
Three-position voice selector
The Deputy is equipped with a three-position voice selector designed to offer maximum versatility by adding a little extra gain.
Position 1 (high): minimum gain.
Position 2 (middle): +6 dB maximum gain, influenced by the amp's gain settings. Position 3 adds upper-mid frequencies and a treble boost to Voice 2.
Bright switch
The Bright switch adds high-end sparkle and allows you to shape the tone of your input signal to achieve the desired result.
Series effects loop
A series effects loop is available for effects enthusiasts. It is completely bypassed when not in use.
Simple and powerful EQ
Extensive tone-shaping potential, featuring a Presence control that acts on the power stage to adjust the bite to your preference.
External bias points
Changing power valves requires no internal handling. The Deputy comes with EL86 valves as standard but can be biased for use with EL84s.
Digital reverb
The Deputy features a footswitchable reverb, offering a sound halfway between a plate and a hall reverb. It is smoother and more modern than a traditional spring reverb.
