To accommodate various playing styles and provide optimal comfort, Tama designed the extra-large, ultra-cushioned Round Rider seat.
This throne features a two-piece locking hinge collar system for a tighter fit between the base and the seat, as well as an oversized wing nut for easy and secure tightening. Tama has eliminated the wobbling that is often present between the throne base and the seat.
1st Chair thrones offer the best of both worlds: the precision of threaded rod height adjustment and the speed of T-bolt systems.
Loosen the bolt (A) and raise the threaded rod to the desired height (you don't need to get the exact height at this point). Spin the height lock (B) to the top of the nylon bushing.
If a slight adjustment is needed, simply turn the height lock or rotate the seat.
Tighten the bolt (A) securely.
By lowering the distance from the seat's center tube to the floor, a lower center of gravity is achieved. Stability is further enhanced by lengthening the tripod stabilizer bar and the double-braced tripod leg design, which does not taper where it inserts into the rubber feet.
This Glide-Tite Grip Joint allows for a more secure attachment by using a metal-on-metal contact point. It creates an extremely solid connection, even for the most demanding players.
TAMA's "Rocklok" features a specially designed nylon bushing at the bottom of the throne's threaded rod, preventing any side-to-side motion.
