Sadowsky MetroExpress P/J Electric Bass – 4-String (21 Frets)

The Roger Sadowsky MetroExpress P/J 4-string electric bass is designed to deliver the famous Sadowsky signature sound in a modern, lightweight, and high-performance instrument. Ideal for professional bassists and demanding amateurs in Quebec and Canada, it combines precision, power, and exceptional playing comfort.

Available at Drummond Musique, this hybrid bass is perfect for the studio, the stage, and touring.

Professional Sadowsky Tone

The MetroExpress series offers the iconic Sadowsky sound:

  • Deep, firm, and defined lows
  • Clear and balanced mids
  • Smooth, never aggressive highs
  • No hum or noise, even with high amplification

Thanks to its passive P/J system with a 2-band active preamp, this bass offers great tonal versatility suitable for rock, jazz, pop, funk, and modern music.

Comfort and High-End Design

Designed for professional performance, this bass combines ergonomics with quality materials:

  • Lightweight solid Okoumé body
  • Roasted maple bolt-on neck with C-profile
  • Roasted maple fingerboard with 21 frets
  • 12" fingerboard radius for fluid playability
  • Candy Apple Orange metallic high-gloss finish
  • Tortoise shell/parchment pickguard depending on model

Its balance and light weight make it an ideal instrument for long live performances.

Electronics and Versatility

  • Hum-cancelling J-style bridge pickup (60s style)
  • Powerful classic P-style neck pickup
  • Active Sadowsky 2-band preamp (bass/treble)
  • Push-pull function for preamp bypass
