Exceptional sound Thanks to its high-level GT processor, the GT-1 provides superior sound quality and ease of editing far superior to most compact multi-effects devices. All the historic know-how of BOSS is at your fingertips, from classics like the OD-1 overdrive to the most modern effects using innovative MDP technology. You'll also find a wide range of COSM amp simulations, from legendary vintage models to original BOSS amps with optimized sounds and response. Original effects like the Acoustic Simulator or the Guitar Simulator provide numerous timbral options, and you even benefit from a Looper to make your work sessions more fun and enrich your music on stage. A portable sound companion The GT-1 was designed for musicians on the go. It's surprisingly lightweight and compact, while still providing legendary BOSS ruggedness. Its modern design allows it to be slipped into the accessories bag of a guitar house. Free from sharp edges, it will not risk damaging your instrument. Operating on batteries or mains, it allows you to perform in all situations and will provide you with autonomy of up to seven hours of play, for street concerts and other performances in a mobile situation. Easy Patch Selection and Sound Creation With the GT-1, it's easy to find fantastic sounds to suit your style, and just as easy to tweak them to your heart's content. Beginners will enjoy quality sounds from the first use, and more experienced musicians will appreciate the speed and intuitiveness of the settings. The Easy Select function allows you to choose patches according to genres, distortion or effect type, while the Easy Edit function allows you to modify Drive, modulation and EchoTone and achieve perfection with minimal manipulation. Dedicated front panel controllers provide On/Off switches for groups of effects and unlock ultra-detailed sound adjustment parameters. BOSS Tone Central and BOSS Tone Studio On BOSS Tone Central, you'll find tons of free patches to play all styles of music with the GT-1. Created by professional guitarists, these patches are ready to use and provide a solid foundation for advanced guitarists who like to customize their wires. The free BOSS Tone studio software provides a comprehensive editing and grading interface for the GT-1, as well as integrated access to all of BOSS Tone Central's patch collections. Total control in a small footprint The GT-1's three footswitches are intelligently designed to allow patch selection, access to the tuner, loop control... in minimal space. The dedicated CTL1 switch can be assigned to any function at will: tap tempo, ignition carried out, etc. The expression pedal and its switch can be assigned to the volume, wah-wah or other parameters. If you're looking for more control, you can connect up to two external footswitches or an expression pedal.
