The GT-1000CORE continues to evolve with ongoing firmware development that adds new features and functionality enhancements requested by users.
• Mastering Effects – Eleven different mastering effects allow you to shape the overall sound at the line output for different playing styles and situations.
• New main echo types – Five echo algorithms from the historic BOSS/Roland library have been added: SDE-3000, DD-20 standard and analog DD-20, and Warm and Glitch from DD-8.
• More built-in speaker IRs for recording – The selection of speaker IRs in Recording mode has been greatly expanded with the ability to use “original” speaker types from different amplifiers .
• More Mic Types – A new RBN121 mic type and three mic mix types have been added to the Speaker Simulator block.

The GT-1000CORE is an ideal companion for recording and performing at home. This is a multi-channel USB audio/MIDI interface for flexible DAW production and efficient re-amping. Record mode lets you choose from a variety of built-in speaker and microphone types, and it's also possible to import 16 of your favorite speaker impulse responses in WAV format. The built-in looper is a great tool for practicing, building sounds and developing ideas. And with BOSS Tone Studios' intuitive user interface, it's easy to create sounds on a Mac or Windows computer.

Multiple serial and parallel routings are easy to configure thanks to the intuitive interface. The GT-1000CORE is a bass processing powerhouse in a plug-and-play package. Three AIRD bass preamps are provided to shape your basic sound, and eight different overdrive/distortion effects are available for added color. There's also an MDP bass compressor, as well as chorus, flanger, wah, and many other effects designed specifically for bass. And with the GT-1000CORE's versatile effects and output routing, you can deliver optimized sound to a stage amp or PA mixer, or both.
