DESCRIPTION The Meinl Artist Series Mike Johnston Groove Bell was developed to offer drummers a cowbell that fits perfectly into a band's mix while providing the percussive spark needed for their grooves. Two magnets are included (a small one and a large one, based on Benny Greb's magnetic sustain control idea) that dampen the sustain and muffle unwanted ringing. The Groove Bell is highlighted by a vintage steel finish.
