Instructions for using Boveda in your instrument case:
Remove the plastic packaging from Boveda. (Do not open the Boveda itself.)
Slide the unwrapped Boveda into a protective pouch or its fabric holder (sold separately).
Place Boveda in the case and close the lid. Always keep your case closed when using Boveda.
No maintenance for months! Initially, Boveda needs time to swell, so your first Boveda will last less time than subsequent ones. After your first batch, Boveda will last from 2 to 6 months depending on the time of year, your climate, and your case. When Boveda 49% RH High Absorption is completely swollen, it is time to replace it.

Always insert the Boveda packet into its fabric holder pouch before placing it in an instrument case. In the same wooden case, do not mix Boveda 49% RH High Absorption packets with other Boveda 49% RH packets, nor Boveda packets with different relative humidity levels. Instead of creating a new "average" relative humidity rate, the moisture will simply transfer from one packet to another. Do not use Boveda packets with other humidification products. They will cancel each other out and reduce the effectiveness of the Boveda packets.
