Instructions for using Boveda in your instrument case:
Remove the plastic packaging from the Boveda. (Do not open the Boveda itself.)
Slide the unwrapped Boveda into the protective sleeve of its fabric holder (sold separately).
Place Boveda in the case and close the lid. Always keep your case closed when using Boveda.
Maintenance-free for months! At first, Boveda needs time to swell, so your first Boveda will last less time than the subsequent ones. After your first set, Boveda will last 2 to 6 months depending on the time of year, your climate, and your case. When the High-Absorption Boveda 49% RH is completely swollen, it is time to replace it.

Always insert the Boveda packet into its fabric holder sleeve before storing it in an instrument case. Within the same wood case, do not mix High-Absorption Boveda 49% RH packets with other Boveda 49% RH packets, or Boveda packets with different relative humidity levels. Instead of creating a new "average" relative humidity level, the moisture will simply transfer from one packet to the other. Do not use Boveda packets with other humidification products. They will cancel each other out and reduce the effectiveness of the Boveda packets.
