The X Series is built to play. The D-X2E acoustic-electric features the iconic Dreadnought body shape, now available in three attractive high-pressure laminate (HPL) patterns: mahogany, Brazilian rosewood, or ziricote. The satin-finish spruce top features an elegant abalone-pattern rosette, while the HPL back and sides provide durability and classic Martin style. Playability enhancements include a thinner fingerboard with a gently beveled comfort edge and refined string spacing, along with a modernized bridge contour for a smooth and comfortable playing experience. Its signature size is loud and projecting with powerful bass, lending itself to all genres and experience levels. The D-X2E also features a select hardwood neck, fingerboard, and bridge, as well as Martin E-1 electronics with a built-in chromatic tuner and volume, tone, and phase controls, allowing you to plug in and play at any volume. All X Series models come with a soft gig bag.
