In addition to being an incredible composer, producer, and bassist, Jon Stockman is incredible at creating some of the most devastating bass sounds in the world. We gathered in our Helsinki headquarters 18 months ago and after endless adjustments and dozens of prototypes, we are finally ready to announce our first co-designed creation: Alpha · Omega. This creation differs greatly from our previous preamplifiers and overdrives: it is based on a fully operational amplifier and has two separate distortion circuits (Alpha and Omega) which can be selected or mixed using our Mod button. This unusual control, combined with the active 3-band toggle switches and balancer, makes Alpha Omega the most flexible of our designs.
SETTINGS
BLEND Blends clean and processed signals. The clean signal remains at unity gain while the volume of the distorted signal is adjusted by the Level knob, allowing fine adjustment of the mix. Level Adjusts the volume of the distorted signal.
DRIVE Adjusts the amount of gain of the overdriven signal. Bite Boosts the high mids (2.8kHz) for added presence and definition.
GROWL Shelving Bass Boost for fatter sound and increased bass saturation.
MOD Selects or blends between the two distinct distortion circuits: Alpha is punchy, tight with lots of definition, while Omega is simply brutal and raw.
BASS+ -12 dB at 80 Hz Mid + -12 dB at 500 Hz Triple + -12 dB at 5 kHz Parallel output Wired copy of your input signal, useful for obtaining a clean signal when recording and live Direct output A balanced version of ¼” output, useful for running into PA or studio mixing consoles. DIMENSIONS 12 × 10.7 cm (4.72 × 4.21 inches)
ATTENTION The Alpha · Omega has a current consumption of 30 mA. Use only a regulated 9V DC adapter with a negative center plug. For ecological reasons, it does not accept batteries. Unregulated power supplies and/or higher voltages may result in suboptimal noise performance and even damage your device, voiding the warranty.
