Simply sophisticated
The DD-200 Digital Delay brings together the sounds and features inherited from the DD-500 in an even more compact package. Twelve different modes offer an inspiring variety of delay colors ranging from modern digital to classic analog, allowing you to dial in everything from basic echoes to rich ambient pads and everything in between. There's also an always-ready looper, as well as a selectable transfer function for smooth transitions between memories.
DD-200 Delay Modes
- Standard digital erase delay. PARAM adjusts the delay attack.
- Analog-Emulates classic "BBD" analog delays like those from the BOSS DM series. PARAM controls the character and amount of distortion.
- Tape: reproduces the warm sound of the legendary Roland RE-201 Space Echo, based on magnetic tapes. PARAM selects different combinations of three playheads and also adjusts the distortion level of the delay sound.
- PARAM selects different combinations of four playheads and also adjusts the distortion level of the delay sound.
- Shimmer-Pitch-shifted delay for lush, heavenly textures. PARAM adjusts the brightness of the delay.
- Tera Echo-Spacious, animated ambient effect derived from the BOSS TE-2 pedal. PARAM adjusts the sound character.
- Pad Echo-New delayed sound developed to create drifting ambient textures. PARAM adjusts the delay attack.
- Rhythm sounds with 16 layered delay lines. PARAM selects different pattern variations.
Lo-Fi-Delay sound with a fat, distorted character. PARAM adjusts the distortion effect.
Double-Two different delay lines connected in series. PARAM sets the second delay time.
Reverse-reversed delay for cool psychedelic effects and other unique sounds. PARAM adjusts the delay attack.
Ducking-Delay with integrated dodging effect. PARAM adjusts the input sensitivity.
