The Keeley Angry Orange is a 4-in-1 pedal that gives you two well-known fuzz and distortion circuits and lets you create two dope new hybrid sounds! It's a bit like pedal modeling, except it's 100% old-school analog circuitry and you decide which tone control or clipping section you want to vibrate. Heavily saturate your guitar with a legendary Japanese Orange Distortion from 1978 or a Soviet Civil War Fuzz from 1991. Use the Angry Orange to create your own fuzztortions with Hybrid Modes, all with just three simple knobs. This pedal can be True Bypass or Buffered Bypass, it only takes two seconds to switch between modes. TONE CONTROL
The Angry Orange gives you two tone control circuits. When the tone switch is up and in the MF position, the tone control is a hollow-sounding passive tilt type. If the tone switch is down and in the DS position, it also has a passive sound tilt control, expressed a little differently.
DIODE CLIPING
Hard or Soft Clipping: The Angry Orange gives you both styles of diode clipping. Diodes are used to create harsh clipping distortions or soft overdrive sounds. If the clipping switch is in the DS position, it features hard diode clipping which is a bolder, more aggressive sound. When the clipping switch is in the MF position, it uses gentle diode clipping, like a muffled fuzz tone.

ANGRY ORANGE – BUFFER BYPASS OR TRUE BYPASS
The Keeley Electronics Angry Orange Distortion and Fuzz features our Jfet buffer for noise-free switching. We've developed an incredible sound buffer that not only enhances the sound of your rig, but also gives you silent switching without loss of tone. No more pops and clicks to distract you from your music. If you wish to deactivate this function and return to True-Bypass, simply press and hold the pedal for two seconds and the pedal will switch to True-Bypass (the LED will flash twice). True Bypass is ideal for players who want the effect of plugging directly into their amp when the pedal is off. Alternatively, players who want a loud, clear signal even when Angry Orange is turned off, simply hold the Stomp switch for two seconds and the effect reverts to Buffered Bypass (LED flashes three times). Enjoy truly silent switching and let your music be the only voice.
