Have you ever wanted your tone to soar like a majestic eagle through a vast canyon? Perhaps you are a mere mortal and simply wish for your tone to ring out like the cries of a sparrow in a small room... Now you can do both like a champion and much more! Welcome to the Levitation™ Reverb Machine! This Levitation device is a vintage-voiced reverb that aims to fit somewhere between the dirty chambers of the 60s, classic spring, and the big ringing plate reverbs of yesteryear. Four knobs and a toggle switch control a little more than you would expect. Want a small room sound? Set all your controls to minimum and use the Mix to dial in the sound of a room devoid of anything other than a guitar and an amp. Want to revel in infinite spatial oscillations? Flip the toggle to Long, crank the Atmosphere and Decay, and tune out. Dial in a bright slap by turning the Tone all the way counter-clockwise and turning down the Decay. Dime everything for a clattering, full-bandwidth assault. You are only limited by your imagination!
1. Mix: Controls the amount of wet signal blended with the dry signal. More reverb clockwise, less counter-clockwise.
2. Length (Toggle): Wide-sweep control for decay time. Shorter to the left, longer to the right.
3. Decay: Controls the length of the reverb decay. Longer clockwise, shorter counter-clockwise.
4. Tone: This is an input bandwidth control for the reverberated signal. Full clockwise rolls off all low-end content to create a brighter reverb; turning counter-clockwise allows more bass to pass through, resulting in a fuller reverb sound.
5. Atmosphere: This is a harmonic regeneration control; it feeds back the upper frequencies of the reverb trails to create a more harmonic (ringing) reverb. More atmosphere clockwise, less counter-clockwise.
