The ART 341 two-channel 15-band 2/3 octave graphic equalizer has the following features: constant Q circuit with 3% center frequency accuracy, 20mm center detent faders, boost and cut range selectable 6dB or 12dB, balanced and unbalanced active inputs and outputs, variable input level control, clip level indicators, ground cutoff switch, internal power supply and selectable switch for line voltage. A range control switch is provided, allowing you to set the maximum gain or cutoff for each EQ band to 6dB or 12dB. Each channel has its own bypass switch with LED indicator. The rugged, all-steel chassis occupies 1U of rack space and is intended for installation in standard 19" equipment racks.
Multiple input and output configurations are provided for ease of use and incorporate parallel connections. The XLR and 1/4" TRS connectors use balanced, low-noise active circuitry. XLR connections are: Pin 1 = ground, pin 2 = hot (+), and pin 3 = cold (-). TRS 1 connections /4" are: Tip = hot (+), ring = cold (-) and sleeve = ground. The XLR and 1/4" connectors can be used in unbalanced configuration. The RCA jacks are unbalanced. The 341 is designed to work with a variety of signal levels. The input level control covers a wide range and can easily be adjusted. Adapt to signal levels -10 and +4 A clipping LED lights when a signal level of 5dB before clipping occurs.
The 341 can be used in a variety of applications such as live sound, recording studios, instrument stands as well as any conventional fixed installation environment. Use the 341 Equalizer wherever a change in the frequency contour of a sound is needed. The 341 Graphic Equalizer is a powerful tool for solving a number of audio problems and creating interesting sound textures. Connect the EQ between your mixing console and the power amplifiers to allow you to change the overall mix to better suit your environment. Use the 341 between your monitor mixer and monitor power amplifiers to help remove feedback-inducing frequencies. Connect a channel to a channel insert to the EQ of an individual channel or track. Run your instrument directly through the equalizer to improve its sound before reaching a power amplifier or instrument amplifier. Plug the 341 into the effects loop of an instrument amplifier or between a preamp and power amp for precise control of the complete sound.
The 341 Dual 15 Band Eq has the features and performance you need for all your audio applications requiring equalization. For the latest in equalizer technology, check out the 341 at your favorite ART retailer.
