A five-string, the ESP Ltd b-205fm electric bass features a wooden body, a flamed maple top, a designer cutaway, and a blue See Thru finish. Its five-piece bolt-on maple/jabota neck, measures 34 inches in scale, features a roasted jabota rosewood, as well as 24 extra-jumbo frets. The strings are secured by a set of Ltd tuners, with a fixed, vibrato-free tailpiece. For electronics, the guitar is equipped with two ESP-designed soapbar pickups.
