The Wolfgang® WG Standard has the same style and massive sound created by Eddie Van Halen, at a price the everyday musician can afford.
Offering many of the flamboyant features like its more expensive brothers, the Wolfgang WG Standard has a basswood body with a special "comfort cut" forearm contour for maximum playing ease. Its bolted baked maple neck with graphite truss rods resists the ravages of temperature and humidity, while a spoked wheel conveniently located at the base of the neck allows for quick, painless truss rod adjustments . Designed for comfortable playability and speed, the Wolfgang WG Standard also features an oil finish on the back of the neck and a 12"-16" compound radius baked maple fingerboard with rolled edges, 22 jumbo frets and inlays blackheads.
Two EVH® Wolfgang humbucker pickups mounted directly to the body increase vibration transfer, providing sustain for days. The black knurled tone and volume control knobs were dialed in to Van Halen's exacting specifications - the soft-touch 500k pots make it easy to find a unique tone while maintaining the high-end sparkle of Wolfgang pickups. The EVH-branded Floyd Rose® Special bridge and R2 locking nut consistently keep the guitar in tune through the deepest dives and horse neighs.
Tested live on stage where it counts, the Wolfgang WG Standard is built for performance and playing comfort, and available in several head-turning finishes with a black headstock and black or black chrome hardware (gloss black only ).
