The G12M Greenback is arguably the ultimate vintage Celestion ceramic magnet speaker. Developed in the mid-1960s, it was quickly adopted by big names such as Hendrix, Clapton, Beck and Page, characterizing a more aggressive and powerful style of Blues Rock playing unique to that period. The G12M-65 Creamback produces the familiar woody sound of the G12M, but packs more power making it the ideal companion to today's amps, when a vintage sound is desired. The increased power brings real bass growl, complementing warm, vocal mids, crunchy mid-highs and smooth, refined highs.
