The Gibson Les Paul Classic combines the Les Paul model from the early 60s with some functional and proven modifications. As expected, the LP Classic is made with a mahogany back and maple top, a thin mahogany neck, and a bound rosewood fingerboard. Burstbucker 61R & 61T zebra open-coil pickups deliver classic Gibson tones of the era with a little extra punch thanks to the open coils. The control assembly features 4 push-pull pots that offer a choice of coil, phase shift and pure bypass taps for functional and versatile sonic variety.
