The D-X1 Black is an affordable acoustic Dreadnought model available in a striking black colorway. The top, back, and sides of the body are made of high-pressure laminate (HPL), a durable material that does not sacrifice the classic Martin sound you know and love. This elegant and special addition to the remastered X Series includes playability improvements like a thinner fingerboard with a gently beveled comfort edge and refined string spacing, and a modernized bridge contour for a smooth and comfortable playing experience. Its iconic and versatile body size is loud and projecting with powerful bass, lending itself to any genre from folk to bluegrass to rock and country and everything in between. It also features chrome enclosed gear tuners, a birch laminate neck with a Richlite® fingerboard, and a herringbone pattern around the rosette. All X Series models come with a gig bag.
