The PRS SE A55E combines quilted maple back and sides with a solid spruce top for astonishing warmth and depth. When paired with PRS hybrid "X"/Classical bracing, which allows the top to vibrate and project freely, the SE A55E has a three-dimensional character uncommon for a maple back and sides guitar. The Angelus Cutaway body shape provides comfort and playability, well suited to picking and finger playing.
Plugged in, the Fishman GT1 pickup system delivers a dynamic, organic sound and allows players to easily take this guitar from rehearsal to the stage. This electronic system features an under-bridge pickup and soundboard-mounted preamplifier with easy-access volume and tone controls.
