When the guitar is in playing position, a knob and a selector switch are located on the lower edge of the body. The five-way pickup selector is located near the neck. The tone pot is closest to the output jack. The volume pot is located just above the pickup selector.
When the selector is in the neck position, the neck pickup is selected. Between the neck and center positions, the neck pickup is selected and wired in parallel. In the center position, the neck and bridge pickups are selected. Between the center and bridge positions, the neck and bridge channels of the neck pickup are selected. In the bridge position, the bridge pickup is selected.
