Fender Custom Shop presents the limited-edition 1960 Heavy Relic Reverse Tele Custom. The two-piece select alder body with offset seam is available in various Heavy Relic lacquer finishes: 3-Color Sunburst, Aged Daphne Blue over 3-Color Sunburst, Aged Olympic White over 3-Color Sunburst, and Aged Black over 3-Color Sunburst. This is our most intense Relic treatment, creating the appearance of a Tele that hasn't exactly been handled with care over the past six decades.
With its large C-shaped quartersawn roasted maple neck and round-lam rosewood fingerboard, you'll have an instrument that provides a wealth of feel, comfort, and playability. A reverse-angled Custom Shop Loaded ’51 Nocaster bridge pickup is paired with a Seymour Duncan ’59 SH-1N humbucker in the neck position for a versatile Tele with all the punch, bite, and full-bodied tone you could want.
Other premium features include a vintage-style 7.25” to 9.5” compound radius, 21 narrow-tall (6105) frets, dual-stack HS Tele wiring, a 3-way blade switch, a 4-ply brown shell pickguard, a reverse-angled Nocaster bridge with compensated brass RSD saddles, vintage-style tuning machines, a bone nut, and a wing string tree. A deluxe hardshell case, strap, and certificate of authenticity are also included.
