The AJ-100CE features a cutaway body and NanoFlex pickup for electrical amplification.
NanoFlex Sensor
The term "Nanoflex" refers to its ultra-thin (nano-like) profile and its flexibility which allows it to adapt to any shape of surface. This ensures complete contact from guitar to saddle to pickup. Unlike other under-saddle pickups, the Nanoflex design uses 7 layers of highly sensitive and ultra-responsive sensor material to detect not only string vibrations, but also guitar body vibrations. The Nanoflex is the first sensor to incorporate active amplification directly at the sensor level. Therefore, the signal does not pass through even a single millimeter of the wire and hence the signal quality is not compromised.
