The Epiphone EJ-200CE is Epiphone's take on the Gibson classic, the guitar you've seen in the hands of everyone from Elvis to Emmylou. Giant maple body with solid spruce top, Mustache bridge, gold hardware and crown inlays on the fingerboard. Beautiful to behold, it has a huge sound that you can easily amplify via electronics.
The eSonic preamplifier
The eSonic preamplifier with built-in tuner delivers studio-grade fidelity, premium dynamics, and dramatically increased harmonic content, for uncompromising acoustic guitar realism. The preamp is equipped with a very precise chromatic tuner. When the tuner button is activated, there is no signal output from the guitar. The tuner button can also be used as a mute function. By enabling the tuner, you can avoid loud noises when plugging in.
Revolutionary stereo microphones!
Under the EJ-200SCE's compensated saddle is a Shadows-branded low-impedance NanoFlex sensor. Unlike a piezo, the unique flexible pickup material has built-in active electronics that not only pick up string vibrations, but also top and body vibrations for a truly acoustic sound without the harshness of piezos. The NanoFlex is complemented by the revolutionary NanoMag pickup mounted at the harmonic-rich end of the fingerboard. Exclusively Shadow, the NanoMag features 3 Samarian-Cobalt magnets and a built-in active circuit to capture all highs and lows, including a wide range of harmonics. With your choice of a 1/4" mono output mixing the two mics or a 1/4" stereo output splitting the two mics, you have incredible flexibility and the ability to create the perfect acoustic sound live!
