In 1986, a new generation of hard rock guitarists was on the rise. To meet the demands of these players and their increasingly "hot-rodded" amplifiers pushed to their limits, we set out to develop a modern guitar speaker capable of handling much more power and overdrive.
To achieve this, we combined our "H" magnet, which performs closest to an Alnico magnet, with a new cone and voice coil using modern materials.
The Vintage 30 is our most detailed speaker. It delivers extremely rich and complex harmonics, warm low end, rich, vocal mid-range, and detailed, crisp highs.
Used singly, it can reveal the complexities of hand-wired boutique amps. When used in a quartet, it produces a rich, complex, and three-dimensional vintage crunch.
The sound of the Vintage 30 has been captured on thousands of recordings by many renowned players, including Slash, Steve Stevens, and Peter Frampton.
