The Morning Glory is undoubtedly our most well-known overdrive pedal, winning more awards and receiving more accolades than any of our other models. We've worked hard to make this one of the most transparent overdrives on the market. When you want to add medium to low grit to your crystal clear sound, use the Morning Glory. When you want to increase a crisp sound into thicker sustain, use the Morning Glory. When you need to add tube-like tactile response to a less-than-ideal amp, use the Morning Glory. When you have to switch between two gain levels on the fly... Yeah, you get the idea.
REALLY TRANSPARENT TONE
The best way to explain the Morning Glory is that it offers all the tonal nuances and responsiveness that your amp lacks, and none of what your sound already has. It's hard to describe a pedal that can be tuned to have little effect on your sound, so just plug in our Morning Glory overdrive for yourself, and then you'll understand.

VERSATILITY ON THE FLY
An update for the Morning Glory V4 moves the original's front-mounted bright-cut switch to the side of the pedal and replaces it with a powerful amplifier circuit. And by pairing your Morning Glory V4 with the JHS Red Remote (sold separately), you can access the boost mid-song. It's like having two Morning Glorys in one crank-friendly package.

THIS PEDAL REQUIRES A STANDARD 9V DC CENTER NEGATIVE POWER SUPPLY, CONSUMES 43MA AND MEASURES 2.2" X 4.8" X 1.6".
VOLUME - Controls the output volume. Left is less, right is more.
DRIVE - Controls the amount of drive or gain much like a tube amp pushed to high volumes. You will notice that when you increase the drive, it also adds brightness. Left is less, right is more.
TONE - Controls the amount of brightness. The right is lighter, the left is darker.
GAIN TOGGLE - Enables higher gain mode when raised. The LED will turn red to indicate that you
are in higher gain mode.
BRIGHT CUT SWITCH - Switch on the right side of the pedal that cuts the higher frequencies in case the overall tone is too bright.
JACKS
INPUT - Lower 1/4" jack on the right side of the pedal. OUTPUT - 1/4" jack on the left side of the pedal.
RED REMOTE JACK - The top jack on the right side of the pedal is for a JHS "Red Remote" switch. When using this switch, you can switch between higher gain mode and standard mode on the fly.
POWER - Uses center negative 9V DC. Do not use more than 9V DC. Your warranty will be voided. Consumption 43mA.
