JHS Pedals is proud to release Paul Gilbert's signature distortion "PG-14!" This is a new unique distortion pedal specially designed to Paul's specifications. At the heart of the circuit is an FET-based distortion engine that emulates the touch, feel and response of a pushed tube amplifier.
This circuit allows the player to have the dynamics and tone of a loud stadium level amplifier at low/moderate volume levels.
ALL MIDS CONTROL!
A second unique and essential feature of the design is that a mid-frequency active preamp is located in front of the FET distortion circuit. This design feature gives the user a vast array of tonal possibilities with any amp or guitar combination.

THIS PEDAL REQUIRES A STANDARD 9V DC NEGATIVE POWER SUPPLY, CONSUMES 36MA AND MEASURES 2.2"X4.8"X1.6".
CONTROLS
VOLUME - Controls the overall volume of the unit. Right is more, left is less. DRIVE - Controls the amount of overdrive. Right is more, left is less.
PUSH - Push is the force with which the circuit input is pushed. Essentially, this is a powerful preamp that hits the front of the "FET" amplifier. Right is more, left is less. This also affects training control.
TONE - Controls the overall tone of your signal. The right is light, the left is dark. MID - Controls the gain of mid frequencies. Right is more, left is less.
MID FREQ - Selects the mid frequency range that the MID knob controls from 400 Hz to 7.5 kHz. On the right, the high-mids, on the left the low-mids.
JACKS
INPUT - 6.35mm jack socket on the right side of the pedal. OUTPUT - 6.35mm jack socket on the left side of the pedal.
POWER - Uses center negative 9V DC. Do not use more than 9V DC. Your warranty will be voided. Consumption 36mA.
