That's exactly what we designed with the Noble Screamer. It's a 4-in-1 pedal that gives you two very familiar control circuits and two all-new amp-like distortion tones that no one has used before. It's almost like pedal modeling, except it's 100% analog circuitry and you decide which tone control or clipping section you want to play with. You can play with classic battle-tested overdrive effects or innovate new music with hybrid sounds, let your ears be the judge. Even with all these features, the pedal remains a simple, easy-to-use three-knob overdrive. The Noble Screamer's innovation doesn't stop there; our new design features truly silent switching or true bypass, on the fly. The Keeley Noble Screamer Overdrive and Boost is manufactured entirely at Keeley Electronics and is the first in our new aluminum housing.

TONE CONTROL
Wide-spectrum tone control or narrow-focus filter control: The Noble Screamer gives you the choice of two tone control circuits. When the tone switch is raised and in the OD position, you will hear a "Spectrum" type tone control that has the ability to switch from a flat EQ to one that increases treble and bass response. If the tone switch is in the TS position, you have a low pass filter that eliminates only high frequencies.
DIODE CLIPING
Hard or Soft Clipping: The Noble Screamer gives you both styles of diode clipping. Diodes are used to create harsh clipping distortions or soft overdrive sounds. If the clipping switch is in the OD position, it features hard diode clipping which is a bolder, more aggressive sound. When the clipping switch is in the TS position, it uses gentle diode clipping, like a lightly saturated tube amplifier.
NOBLE SCREAMER HAS BOTH A BUFFER AND A TRUE BYPASS
The Keeley Noble Screamer features our Vitamin K-infused buffer for noise-free switching. We've developed an incredible sound buffer that not only enhances the sound of your rig, but also gives you silent switching without loss of tone. No more pops and clicks to distract you from your music. If you wish to deactivate this function and return to True-Bypass, simply press and hold the pedal for two seconds and the pedal will switch to True-Bypass (the LED will flash twice). True Bypass is ideal for players who want the effect of plugging directly into their amp when the pedal is off. Alternatively, players who want a loud, clear signal even when the Noble Screamer is turned off, simply hold the Stomp switch for two seconds and the effect reverts to Buffered Bypass (LED flashes three times). Enjoy truly silent switching and let your music be the only voice.
