The Level 2A Lesson Book, 2nd Edition, follows Piano Adventures Level 1. It begins with a note-reading guide and an introduction to eighth-note rhythms. Students work on 5-finger transposition, functional harmony, and musical phrasing. Exploration of 5-finger positions in C, G, D, and A major and minor builds on the interval-reading skills covered in the previous level. Engaging repertoire reinforces key concepts and encourages students to explore musical expression through varied dynamics and tempos. Selections include well-known classics by great composers and original compositions.
