The best way to describe the Air Zone™ is as a vintage version of the Tone Zone®. It offers the same low string pull as our other Airbuckers™ for singing sustain, while retaining the deep bass and rich harmonics of the Tone Zone®, with increased sensitivity and control. It works perfectly with high-gain amps, allowing the guitarist to take full advantage of the high preamp gain without muddying the sound. It is also an excellent neck pickup for jazz guitarists looking for the sound of a hollow-body guitar on a solid-body instrument. Additionally, it offers excellent split and series-parallel wiring options.
Recommended for: Bridge position primarily (see technical section for neck position application) on solid-body and semi-hollow guitars.
