We are convinced that the Area 58™ and Area 61™ pickups represent a major performance breakthrough for noise-canceling Strat® replacement pickups. The research and technology applied to these models have allowed us to achieve a similar breakthrough with Telecaster® replacement pickups. The Area T™ bridge pickup delivers the performance expected from a great Tele® bridge pickup: singing highs, punchy lows, and mids with almost unreal power.
The most immediately noticeable quality of the Area T™ bridge pickup is its dynamics. The Area T™ reacts instantly to variations in pick attack and volume. It is also very sensitive to the distance from the strings. The output is very high when the pickup is close to the strings, but can be reduced considerably by moving it away. Thanks to the Alnico 2 magnets that come standard on the Area T™, string pull is not an issue. Recommended for: Bridge position
