The EMG P81 pickup utilizes the internal components of our original 81 model, but in a P90 format. Thanks to its powerful ceramic magnets and close aperture coils, it delivers a rich and precise tone, exceptional high-end cut, and fluid sustain.
Traditionally used in the bridge position, this pickup allows your solos to cut through with ease, even in the densest mixes. Other recommended combinations include the classic P81/P85 and the versatile P81/P60 combo. EMG’s solderless installation makes replacing your pickups easier than ever.
