For more precise control and enhancement of your sound, the MG Series XU models are equipped with a suite of Yamaha's renowned SPX effects. Featuring high-resolution Chorus, Flanger, Distortions, Reverb and Delay, all with editable parameters, these are the same multi-effects processors used on Yamaha's high-end mixing consoles, giving you the tools you need to elevate your mixes to the next level.
High quality D-PRE and operational amplifiers
The mono input channels are equipped with discrete Class A “D-PRE” microphone preamplifiers. The D-PRE head amplifier features an inverted Darlington circuit used in high-end audio devices. This circuit uses multi-stage amplifier elements to ensure high current and low impedance, for audio texture with great clarity and richness in the low and mid frequencies. Combined with the specially designed "MG01" operational amplifier, the overall result is full reproduction of low frequencies as well as sustained high frequencies. The input channels are equipped with combo jacks, which can accept XLR and TRS connectors. Additionally, the PAD circuit allows line-level input, to accommodate a wide variety of instruments.
24 high-quality digital effects
The MG10XUF features 24 built-in effects that are based on the SPX algorithms used by professionals. In particular, the high-quality reverb and delay expand the spatial quality of the sound with remarkable realism and naturalness.
24-bit/192kHz USB audio interface
The MG10XUF features a USB 2.0 audio interface capable of delivering 24-bit/192kHz sound quality. The audio interface allows you to play music on your computer or use DAW software such as Cubase AI to record the mixer's output. XU models support USB 2.0 audio class, allowing you to use them with tablets and other USB 2.0 audio class compatible devices without having to install drivers. The USB protocol uses asynchronous data transfer. Audio data is transferred based on a highly accurate audio clock signal from the MG, for high quality recording and playback.
MG Rec & Play
MG Rec & Play software allows recording to an iPhone/iPad connected to the MG10XUF, as well as playing back songs and sounds from an iPhone/iPad. This application can be used for a wide variety of purposes, such as recording live concerts, providing background music for entertainment events or sound effects for parties.
Cubase AI, Cubasis LE
The MG10XUF comes with Steinberg DAW software “Cubase AI” and supports DAW software “Cubasis LE” for iPad.
