The new S16 Digital Snake from BEHRINGER allows you to connect your FOH (Front of House) console to the stage. The S16 offers 16 fully programmable and remote controllable high-end mic preamps, plus 8 balanced end-of-stage analog XLR returns, and connects to the FOH via a single CAT5 cable without the need for a dedicated router.
Massive Connectivity
When used as part of a complete Extremely affordable POWERPLAY P-16 personal, which can power up to 48 individual monitoring mixers. Also included are two ADAT optical jacks for connecting channels 1-8 and 9-16 to external devices, a convenient USB port for system updates via your PC, plus MIDI I/O for lighting systems and control of the audio module.
Autonomous snake mode
Although the S16 was originally designed for use with our flagship X32 digital console, any mixer with AES50 networking capability can take advantage of the S16's powerful features. So if you occasionally work on an analog mixer, you can use two pairs of S16 and ADA8000 to form a high-performance, lightweight 16x16 digital snake, all over a single CAT5 connection, while still retaining the functionality of remote control of the preamp.
Make Setup a Breeze remote controllable preamps
Having to run back and forth to FOH, or trying to communicate with a tech on stage looking for a bad cable or connection, can really put a crimp in the gig. The S16's ingenious head amp monitoring/monitoring section allows you to select one of 16 inputs, 8 bus outputs, or P16 output streams, for immediate line control. In addition to signal metering on the stage box, you can adjust the gain of each input channel, apply +48V phantom power, and you have the option to directly listen to the input signal via headphones and more. Once configured, all configuration settings can be locked to the console for complete system security.
Seamless integration with the P-16 personal monitoring system
The S16's ULTRANET port allows you to connect directly to the BEHRINGER POWERPLAY P16 system, which offers a simple and affordable way to give your musicians and singers what they really want - "more of me! The P16-M personal mixers allow each performer to take control of what they hear, allowing you to focus on providing the best possible listening experience for your audience Quick and easy to install, a basic system can be installed. and configured in minutes and the system can be expanded to adapt to changing needs.
KLARK TEKNIK AES50
