BRING THE MOTION
The MXR Flanger/Doubler is built around two distinct voices. The flanger effect produces wide-ranging movement and metallic resonance, adding motion and dynamism to your sound. The doubler effect thickens your signal with a slightly offset second track, creating chorus effects or even a precise short slapback delay.
Use the Doubler button to choose between the two effects, then use the Manual, Width, and Speed controls to sculpt the tone, range, and sweep rate. Intensity is controlled by the Regen knob, which uses feedback to modulate the sound, from soft, mellow coloration to aggressive metallic resonance. Once your main sound is set, the Mix knob allows you to blend your dry and processed signals according to your preference, from completely dry to completely processed.

Two LEDs on the top face of the MXR Flanger/Doubler display the delay time instantly. The speed, brightness, and left/right activity are determined by your Speed, Width, and Manual settings. This allows you to make quick, precise adjustments, even in a noisy environment.
