The Ventris is a powerful stereo reverb pedal featuring 24 distinct effects engines ranging from classic Spring, Plate and Room sounds to advanced Shimmer, Swell, Modulation and Pitch Shifting reverbs. The Ventris also features dual DSP, eight built-in presets, true spillover, stereo inputs and outputs, smooth bypass (or "trails"), a unique sustain function, Full MIDI control and deep editing with the Neuro Mobile app (downloadable for free on Android and iOS).
Dual Reverb Effect: The ability to combine two reverb engines truly expands the ambient possibilities and frees the creative mind.
True overflow: Seamless and unlimited overflow from one preset to another is a huge advantage in real-world situations. There are no limitations in terms of reverb type or transition duration.
Massive processing power: Dual processing eliminates bloated reverb programs all in one. Instead of being forced to allocate 5% of processing power to something vital and complex like True Spring reverb, Ventris Reverb can now dedicate 100% of the CPU, opening the door to a new frontier of realism and sound exploration.
The True Spring engine takes full advantage of the Ventris Dual Reverb's immense processing power, perfectly capturing the unmistakable "drop" of vintage spring reverb tanks. The result is an exceptionally realistic sound that perfectly captures all the subtleties and idiosyncrasies of amplifiers equipped with classic spring reverb.
In addition to the True Spring engine, the Ventris offers a complete collection of perennial favorite reverbs. The Plate reverb engine delivers the wonderfully lush, diffused effect found in classic plate devices from the late 1950s. There are also excellent simulations of natural acoustic spaces - choose from a range of sizes of rooms, starting with the warm, tight subtleties of the Room engine and moving through the expansive reverbs of the gargantuan E-Dome. Finally, the Hall motor captures the lush sounds of high-powered rack units from the 1980s.
The Ventris also offers a fantastic collection of unnatural reverb effects. The Swell engine creates a swelling volume of the reverb for gradually emerging blocks of sound. The Shimmer blends into two pitch-variable reverbs, adding a touch of angelic or demonic shine. Reverse flips the verb for a dramatic and scary backmasking effect. The Offspring engine resurrects the forgotten "Laserverb" effect of early Kurzweil rack units - it's a unique retro-futuristic sound that evokes images of sci-fi battles from a galaxy far, far away.
The Ventris Dual Reverb also features a long list of mandatory control features and introduces some bold new ones. The A+B switch makes it very easy to choose between the pedal's two signal processors or combine them for completely unique dual reverb effects. Stereo inputs and outputs deliver mega-wide stereo distribution for a larger-than-life ambiance. The OPTION footswitch offers a variety of hands-free control options, including scrolling through presets, switching A to B processors, reverb hold, runaway reverb, and tempo tap. The Ventris also offers 8 built-in presets, full MIDI functionality (expanding the preset number to 128), expression control, external preset switching and much more.
Finally, the Ventris is compatible with the Neuro Desktop editor and the mobile application. Connect the Ventris Dual Reverb to one of our Neuro Editors and choose from an extensive palette of additional reverb types. Use the Neuro's advanced set of deep editing parameters to create highly personalized reverb effects. Easily burn your edited sounds directly to one of the Ventris effects selector positions or to one of its 128 preset locations.
