Designed and manufactured in Australia, the M5 is a compact, quiet, full-bandwidth 1/2” cardioid condenser microphone. Using the experience gained with the award-winning NT5 mic, RØDE has succeeded in manufacturing an excellent permanent polarized condenser pencil mic that will impress the most demanding artists and audio engineers.
Ideal for the studio and stage, the M5 performs well with acoustic instruments, choirs and in any situation where you would traditionally use a small diaphragm condenser microphone, in mono or stereo. Each paired pair is selected with the greatest care to guarantee a variation in sensitivity not exceeding 1dB between the microphones. Each pair comes with a certificate confirming the authenticity of the pair. The M5 features RØDE’s special ceramic topcoat in matte black. Two WS5 windshields and two RM5 stand mounts come with the pair of microphones.
