DESCRIPTION
Designed with an innovative Performance X™ bracing pattern, the mid-sized auditorium body of the Fender California Vintage Palomino is lightly built with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid ovangkol back and sides to effortlessly produce a versatile and articulate voice with exceptional detail, clarity, and balance. A modern ergonomic "V" profile was chosen for the okoume neck with a 25.5" scale length for optimal sustain, and a 6-in-line tilt-back headstock with a matching painted headcap provides a distinctive look born from Fender’s electric guitar DNA. Other notable details include an ovangkol fingerboard with pearloid block inlays for a retro look, vintage-style tuning machines for smooth and accurate tuning, and a bone nut and saddle for superior harmonic character. Aimed at the performer, the integrated Fishman® Presys VT Plus preamp system features soundhole-mounted controls that blend an under-saddle piezo and an internal body transducer to allow for faithful and reliable reproduction of the guitar’s natural sound when plugged into an amplifier or recording device. A vintage-style hardshell case is included.
