The Aquarian Super Kick II (SKII) bass drum head is made of two 7-mil plies of the new "NEW BRITE" film and features Aquarian’s patented "Floating Muffling System."
The narrow felt muffle ring, which is attached to the head, moves and "breathes" with it; it reduces unwanted overtones while enhancing low-end frequencies to provide a punchy, well-defined sound. Thanks to Aquarian's vacuum molding process, the two 7-mil plies act as a single head, providing punch, clarity, and sonic purity. Durable, the SKII offers the ideal balance between resonance control and a full, powerful bass drum sound.
Often imitated but never equaled, the Superkick bass drum head line is an industry best-seller. It is favored by drummers, drum techs, and sound engineers who are looking for a musical and controlled bass drum sound that is achieved quickly and easily, without the need for blankets, pillows, or external muffling systems.
The SKII is also available in "Texture Coated" finishes (white or black) for added warmth.
