The Aquarian Super Kick II (SKII) bass drum head is made of two 7-mil plies of the new "NEW BRITE" film and incorporates Aquarian’s patented "Floating Muffling System."
The narrow felt muffling ring, attached to the head, moves and "breathes" with it; it reduces unwanted overtones while enhancing low-end frequencies to provide a punchy, well-defined sound. Aquarian’s multi-ply vacuum molding process allows the two 7-mil plies to act as a single head, providing punch, clarity, and pure tone. Robust, the SKII offers the ideal balance between resonance control and a full, powerful bass drum sound.
Often imitated but never equaled, the Superkick bass drum head line is an industry best-seller. It is favored by drummers, drum techs, and sound engineers who are looking for a musical and controlled bass drum sound, achieved quickly and easily, without the need for blankets, pillows, or external muffling systems.
The SKII is also available with white or black "Texture Coated" finishes for added sonic warmth.
