Compressor Plus “25th Anniversary” – A New Chapter for Keeley’s Most Iconic Pedal Model
Germanium transistor – Germanium-enriched audio output and germanium-integrated side-chain circuit
Level, Tone, Compression, and Blend controls – Intuitive, familiar controls for managing dynamics and sustain
Signature Blend control – Mix the dry and compressed signals to preserve attack, clarity, and playing feel
True Bypass or Buffered Bypass – Switch instantly between modes
9–18V DC power supply – Great flexibility for modern pedalboards
Low power consumption (25 mA) – Standard power supply (center-negative polarity)
Designed and made in Oklahoma, USA – Celebrating 25 years of Keeley Electronics

For 25 years, Keeley Electronics has designed pedals for musicians with demanding ears. It all began in 2001 with Robert Keeley, a workbench, and a modest compression pedal. This first compressor helped define the company’s identity and became one of the most influential creations in Keeley’s history.
Over the years, the Keeley compressor continued to evolve. The original model gave rise to a version with four potentiometers, followed by the Compressor Plus. Each iteration gave musicians more control while preserving the musicality that made the original version a success.
Today, Keeley is returning to its roots.
The Compressor Plus Germanium celebrates 25 years of Keeley Electronics while evolving the Keeley compressor for a new generation of musicians.
GERMANIUM AT THE HEART OF THE CIRCUIT

At the heart of the Compressor Plus Germanium is a Japanese-style germanium transistor. Keeley uses this component in both the audio output section and the compressor’s side-chain circuit.
The result: the Compressor Plus Germanium gives a well-known model a new personality. The circuit retains the control and versatility expected of a Keeley compressor while adding the unique sonic response of germanium.
This is not simply an anniversary edition or a cosmetic update. Keeley has modified the circuit itself to create a new version of one of its most iconic pedals. FAMILIAR CONTROLS

Keeley Compressor Plus Germanium control potentiometers

The Compressor Plus Germanium retains the intuitive layout that made the original Compressor Plus famous.
“Level” controls the overall output volume.
“Compression” sets the compression ratio and sustain.
“Tone” adjusts the high frequencies of the compressed signal.
“Blend” balances the dry signal with the compressed signal.
The Blend control remains one of the Compressor Plus’s most valuable features: it adds sustain and control without sacrificing the instrument’s natural attack. This allows you to achieve any type of sound, from subtle compression to a much more pronounced effect.
FLEXIBLE BYPASS SWITCHING

The Compressor Plus Germanium offers two bypass modes: “true bypass” and “buffered bypass.” You can switch between these two modes at any time, making it easy to integrate the pedal into any pedalboard.
Whether you prefer the simplicity of true bypass or the benefits of a high-quality buffer for preserving signal integrity, the Compressor Plus Germanium offers both options in a single pedal.
DESIGNED FOR MODERN PEDALBOARDS

The Compressor Plus Germanium operates on 9–18V DC and draws only 25 mA. It uses standard connectivity (center-negative polarity), making it compatible with most effect pedal power supplies.
More importantly, the Compressor Plus Germanium bridges Keeley’s past and future. What began in 2001 with Robert Keeley and a first compression pedal has evolved over 25 years of design and manufacturing in Oklahoma into a true benchmark.
The Keeley Compressor Plus Germanium pays tribute to those early days while evolving the Compressor Plus range for generations of musicians to come.
