The TRIO+ is an easy-to-use guitar pedal that listens to the way you play and automatically generates bass and drum parts that match your song. Just plug your guitar into the TRIO+, press the Band footswitch to teach the TRIO+ your chords and rhythm, and then press the Band footswitch again to start jamming with your own personal band!
Bass and drum levels can be adjusted for the perfect mix using the TRIO+’s dedicated knobs. The TRIO+ also features a Simple Bass button that lets you select between three bass line modes for more or less busy bass lines. Taking the Band Creator™ concept even further, the TRIO+ also lets you loop and custom-sequence your looped guitar parts to create full songs on the fly.
Press the TRIO+’s Looper footswitch to record a loop along with an unlimited number of overdubs. The loop level can be adjusted individually with the Loop knob. You can record loops on their own—operating just like a traditional looper—or along with the band. You can also apply built-in effects to your guitar signal by enabling the Guitar FX button, or connect your favorite pedals to the FX Send and FX Return jacks. The TRIO+ offers 12 music genres to choose from: Blues, R&B, Rock, Alternative Rock, Metal, Pop, Electronic Pop, Hip-Hop, Country, Folk, Latin, and Jazz. 12 styles are available for each genre and can be selected using the Style knob, including the choice between 3/4 and 4/4 time signatures. Multi-colored LEDs around the Style knob indicate which styles best match your song. The TRIO+ can store up to 5 different song parts, perfect for creating an intro, verse, chorus, bridge, and outro. These parts can be recalled on the fly as the song plays or programmed to play back in a sequence. An optional DigiTech FS3X footswitch can be connected to the TRIO+’s Control In jack for hands-free control, with three operational modes to choose from. Up to 12 songs along with their loops can be stored on the microSD card included with the TRIO+. Want to create more songs? No problem: just insert a new SD card to start teaching the band new songs. Download the free Librarian Manager software from digitech.com (available for Windows® and Mac®) to manage your songs and loops on your computer. The TRIO+ features independent level controls for Loop, Bass, Drums, and Headphone volume, as well as Tempo, Genre, and Style controls; it includes inputs for Guitar, FX Return, and Control Footswitch, along with outputs for Amp, Mixer, FX Send, and Headphones. It also features built-in guitar effects (tailored to the music genre) and a soft-click footswitch, and comes with a 9V DC power adapter.
