The rotary effect was one of the first modulation effects to appear on the music scene. Originally designed for Hammond* organs, the Leslie* was a rotating speaker that created the highly recognizable Doppler effect (think of a church organ). You have heard rotary effects on many tracks, from The Beatles' "It's Only Love" to Stevie Ray Vaughan's "Cold Shot," to John Mayer's "City Love" and Soundgarden's "Black Hole Sun." It is everywhere! The JHS Pedals 3 Series Rotary Chorus gives you that classic, swirling chorus sound in an affordable and easy-to-use format!
Intensity determines the depth of the modulation. Speed lets you control the rotation speed of the simulated speaker. Engaging the "Room" switch (up position) adds a spacious reverb ambiance to the sound, similar to the ambient sound of a real Leslie* microphone.
CONTROLS
VOLUME: Controls the overall volume of the pedal. To the left, the volume decreases; to the right, the volume increases.
INTENSITY: Controls the modulation depth. To the left, it decreases; to the right, it increases.
SPEED: Controls the modulation speed. To the left, it is slower; to the right, faster.
ROOM: Toggle down for a standard effect. Toggle up for a more spacious reverb.
JACKS
INPUT: 1/4" jack on the right side of the pedal.
OUTPUT: 1/4" jack on the left side of the pedal. POWER - Requires 9V DC center-negative power and consumes 65mA. Do not exceed 9V DC. You will void your warranty.
THIS PEDAL REQUIRES A STANDARD 9V DC CENTER-NEGATIVE POWER SUPPLY, CONSUMES 65mA, AND MEASURES 4.4" x 2.38" x 1.2".
