By connecting your guitar to the VE-2, the Auto Harmony function detects the chords you play and the key you are in, automatically generating the appropriate vocal harmonies. If you are not a guitarist, your bandmate can plug their guitar into your pedal, or you can manually set the song's key using the dedicated button. The Hybrid mode combines both previous modes: when the guitar can no longer serve as a key reference, the manual setting takes precedence. Thanks to these three intuitive methods, you can generate perfect, natural harmonies without spending hours reading a user manual or learning music theory.

Thanks to the 12 harmonization types offered by the VE-2, you are sure to find the one that suits your music. You can easily choose, using a dedicated button, a one- or two-part harmony with several possible intervals above and/or below your vocal line. Each available type offers variations to add voices and enrich the harmony. This makes it easy to create either a simple additional vocal color or an impressive full vocal ensemble with the VE-2.
Perfectly simple controls
The VE-2 is incredibly intuitive for all users, including singers who have never used effects before. Simple buttons allow you to achieve the desired sound instantly, and the LED display lets you see the current key at a glance. The built-in multifunction footswitch allows you to engage or bypass the harmonization, or simply bypass the pedal. You can even connect two additional footswitches for greater control. Your three favorite harmonization settings can finally be saved in the pedal and recalled with a simple press of a button.

No need to hire a sound engineer to make your vocal parts sound great: everything is in the VE-2. The Echo section gives you access to high-quality Reverbs and Delays, separate or coordinated, easily adjustable with a single button. Pressing the Enhance button once gives you a studio-quality vocal sound, while a second press adds subtle pitch variations for a live concert feel. The XLR input accepts all types of professional microphones, including studio condenser models that require phantom power. The VE-2 provides phantom power even when running on batteries, allowing you to use the best microphones no matter where you sing.
Connect to your PC to record yourself
In principle, recording a lead vocal and accompanying backing parts at the same time requires delicate equipment and wiring. But not with the VE-2! Simply connect it to your computer via USB and use your usual music software to record your voice, its vocal harmonies, and its effects. Useful for studio recording and composition, this feature also allows singers to easily publish online videos with elaborate vocal parts. And thanks to the VE-2's Loopback function, you can choose an audio file stored on your computer, playback, or karaoke track,
and add your vocal part to it.
