The natural dynamics and organic compression of vintage tube amps and tape machines
3rd generation improvements: low-mid and high-mid frequency selectors
Level control adjusts the volume of the overdrive signal
Drive control adjusts the saturation level of the overdrive signal
Grunt switch selects the amount of low-frequency saturation
Attack switch selects the amount of high-frequency saturation
Blend control mixes the clean input signal and the processed overdrive signal
Parallel output for simplified parallel processing
Direct output: a balanced version of the 1/4" output for connection to a PA system or studio console
Power supply: 9V DC regulated power adapter with center-negative polarity (sold separately)
A classic, refined sound.
The upgraded Vintage Deluxe takes the warm, characteristic tube amp tones of the Microtubes Vintage and adds a 4-band active equalizer, a low-mid/high-mid frequency selector, a parallel output, and a balanced line driver. It offers the natural dynamic response and organic compression of classic tube amplifiers. Tape machines, four decades of legendary tones in an ultra-compact format that fits easily into your gig bag.
Front-panel features:
Blend: Mixes the clean input signal with the saturated signal. The clean signal remains at unity gain, while the volume of the saturated signal is set by the Level knob, allowing for precise mix control.
Level: Sets the volume of the saturated signal.
Drive: Sets the amount of saturation in the saturated signal.
Attack: Sets the treble saturation: The "Boost" setting accentuates the highs for more clarity and presence.
The "Flat" setting leaves this register untouched, while the "Cut" setting reduces high-frequency saturation.
This new feature allows you to tame the highs, which is especially useful with new strings or cabinets equipped with tweeters!
Grunt: Sets the low-end saturation by choosing between three levels of bass boost before the clipping stage. Phase.

Inputs and outputs
Output
Connect the 1/4″ jack to the input of your amplifier or another effects pedal. Ground lift
Use this control to lift the ground of the XLR output. If you hear ground noise in your DI signal, try changing this control.
Direct output
A balanced version of the 1/4″ output, useful for PA systems or studio mixing consoles.
Input
Connect your instrument or the output of your pedalboard to the mono 1/4″ jack.
9V DC
Use only a 9V DC regulated power adapter with center-negative polarity.
Parallel output
A direct throughput of your input signal, useful for parallel processing.
